Highlighting 200 examples of smart cities and communities’ solutions in Europe, the EC Directorate-General for Energy (DG ENER) commissioned a study to contribute to the knowledge base of the European Innovation Partnerships (EIP).
The report includes solutions for sustainable urban mobility to encourage people to take informed decisions about their mobility, smart technologies for the built environment to pursue better living, resource efficiency and waste reduction.
Analysing Smart Cities and Communities (SCC) solutions and initiatives that are linked to the Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) of the EIP Smart Cities and Communities (EIP-SCC), the wide scale roll-out of integrated smart cities’ solutions report was carried out by PwC, DTI, ISIS, SigmaOrionis, with the support of Sinergis and HIT.
