The Permanent Study Group on Food Security was re-named the “PSG on Sustainable Food Systems”. The organization seeks to address sustainable food production and ensure the security of food supply. It contributes in these areas in order to advance progress on the UN sustainable development Goals within the UN 2030 agenda. The name was changed because the organization has broadened its focus to include more sustainable, resilient, healthy, and fair climate-friendly food systems.
