The European Business Summit, presenting INHERIT in the panel session: Sustainable Cities – Reinventing and Retrofitting European Cities, June 2016
EuroHealthNet, together with Revolve Media were present this year at the European Business Summit in Brussels. The event was an opportunity for the business sector to present new innovative ideas and work towards more sustainable business models.
This year’s session on Sustainable Cities brought together more than 40 participants and a panel of 6 participants from different areas. The discussions focused on innovative ideas and products in the area of hotel chains and their support of environmental sustainability. Also, new developments in the solar systems industry, and effective ways for citizens’ participation in cities policy debates were covered.
EuroHealthNet presented some of the urban areas opportunities and challenges of urban areas from the health and well-being perspective, highlighting the need to ensure that innovative products and solutions are affordable and accessible for all. As lifestyles and behaviours play an important role in shaping our environment and impact on our health and well-being, participants were invited to follow INHERIT in its journey towards more healthy and sustainable lifestyles for all.
