Based in Cologne, the Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA) is an authority working in the Federal Ministry of Health in Germany. Established in 1967 as a governmental institute with the aim of preserving and promoting human health, BZgA coordinates and the strengthens health promotion and prevention in Germany, develops and implements training programmes and instruments, and cooperates internationally with the WHO and the EU.
