Home to 60 cultural institutions, the MuseumsQuartier Wien is one of the largest districts for contemporary art and culture in the world. A thrilling mixture of historic architecture meets contemporary design, today the MuseumsQuartier is a platform for cutting-edge artistic creation, new discourses, and the exchange of ideas, making it a fitting location for the #InheritYourFuture Forum. The main entrance to the MuseumsQuartier can be seen in the picture to the left.

The forum will take place in the Ovalhalle of the MuseumsQuartier. The entrance for the Ovalhalle is just to the left of the MQ’s main entrance and is titled ‘Arena 21/Ovalhalle,’ as pictured. An additional map of the venue is available at the bottom of the page.

Getting to the Venue

From the Airport:

  • City Airport Train (CAT) The City Airport Train connects the airport with the transport hub at Wien Mitte non-stop in only 16 minutes. You can then walk to the ‘Landstraße’ metro stop and take the the U3 line to the “Volkstheater” stop.
  • The buses of Vienna Airport Lines take you direct to Vienna city center, to the Donauzentrum via Messezentrum and Vienna International Centre (VIC)/Austria Center Vienna, or to the Westbahnhof and Vienna Main Station.

From Downtown:

  • Metro: travel to the “Museumsquartier” stop on the U2 line. The MQ is also adjacent to the “Volkstheater” stop on the U2 and U3 lines.
  • Tram: the 49 line stops at Volkstheater.
  • Bus: the 48A also stops at Volkstheater.
The entrance to the Ovalhalle is just to the left of the main entrance (between the 1 & 2 marked on the map above).
